What Would you Rather... come Par-Tay!

First off, I wanted to say THANK YOU publicly to our Guest Contributors this week CeCe Savage and Gucci Mama (Click on their names and check out their posts if you missed them, GREAT reads)! What incredible posts and please come back and write for us anytime! I'm sure everyone agrees with me!

What Would You Rather

Would you rather marry a DREAMER or a REALIST?

AND

What would you rather have a good marriage (or love life) or good paying career?

Now I know you can have both but the fun of the game is to choose one and why you would choose it!

Come play along! :)

Leave a comment, comment on other people's comments, and twitter and facebook the post! Let's make this a party!!!

I'd like to think I'm a realist in most situations and circumstances, but must admit that I am often overcome by my own desire to dream as well. The problem with that, as the priest once told Rudy, is that dreamers are not doers . . .

I'll take love over money any day of the week. And often do . . .

And I too want to thank the contributors. Haven't had much chance to comment as it's been a very hectic week, but I read, and enjoyed, their perspectives. Do come back and be a part as often as you wish!

I would rather marry a dreamer because I think a dreamer wouldn't discount MY dreams, which isn't exactly pleasant. And having LIVED the axiom that money doesn't buy happiness (still living it) I would choose poor as a church mouse in a good and happy marriage than rich and miserable every. single. time.

I would rather marry a realist, because I am a dreamer, and 2 dreamers don't really hold things together well.

And I would rather have a good marriage/love life. All the money in the world don't mean nothin' if you ain't gettin' a lil' somn' somn!

I'm a dreamer and I married a realist... so I'm okay with that. A realist.

Hmmmmm right now I'd crawl and kiss the ground for a good paying career... but in the end I'd choose love because I'm a romantic and such...

Well in reality I have a great marriage and a really satisfying low paying career. And I'm a dreamer who is married to a realist and I wouldn't have it any other way.

You may RIGHT NOW have a low paying career my sweet SHer (not for long because your talent is incredible)... but your hubs... not so much ;)

But I've heard more than once that you have the dream life! hehehe

Okay fun.

I'm more of a realist and my wife is more of a dreamer... I think I'd keep it that way... that was we don't wind up in debt up to our eyeballs.

I'd def take a good marriage. At one time I'd have told you a good paying career. But with recent events I've realized that at the end of the day I'm happier having spent time with my family than working for the almighty dollar.

Hey at least the questions today are easy to choose from...

Ok, first question:

Since I'm a dreamer, I would definitely choose a realist for a spouse and wouldn't you know it..he IS!! yay me..LOL.

And I'd take a good marriage over a good paying career any day..oh wait, I have it already..LOL.

I would marry a dreamer because they would be more of a risk taker and less of a deal breaker.

I certainly would not want to marry for money and consider my happiness a much more long-term investment, so I would much rather have a good marriage.

I'm going to go with having a wonderful marriage with a realist. so far it's working out for us pretty well (I do plenty of dreaming, he keeps me grounded because the great paying career just ain't happenin')

I'm one of these people who get stuck when they have to choose. But. I'd marry a dreamer. and here why =) Real life really sucks, doens't it. Life with a dreamer is fun! En revanche I'd like to have a good paying career cause a person can't live on dreams alone =) ...Damn it's hard to choose! =) I'll stop now ! )

He's a dreamer. I'm the realist. Thank goodness for me!
No, really, it's a great combo!
He's also incredibly romantic.
Which is also good for me!
Money? What's that? Maybe Sher can get famous enough for all of us!

I would rather marry a dreamer who is grounded when he needs to be, and have a good marriage than a good career.
