VIDEO: My first REAL date with MSM!

Dates for me always ended up with us laughing at something stupid I did. It's just how it was... I caught onto that at an early age, well you know after I was 16, and just accepted it!

Since this blog is about REAL relationships... I thought it would be fun to introduce myself via VIDEO... well to those of you that are NEW... everyone else you have either seen me on my OTHER blog or you saw the interview my guy and I did for this blog!

So here I am, in all my dorky glory, to tell you about my first REAL date with MountainSport Man... I'm so glad he could overlook my total geekiness! :)

It's time you can never get back... so watch at your OWN risk!

And all of you that have seen my other videos on my blog I put the sheet up so you can't see my MESSY catch all room any longer!!!

You're. Welcome!

So... go ahead, make me feel better, someone out there must have vomited from nerves instead of some good excuse like getting SMASHED/DRUNK/PISSED...

Anybody?

This thing on?

Love,

Hello?

You know when you are in a room FULL of people... yet you feel all alone...

Yea that's not what I feel.. I feel like I'm in a room VOID of people and I feel all alone...

It looks like I'm the only geek that vomits on a date because I was nervous!

Next time I'm going to sing and dance and twirl a baton with fire at the ends!

THEN i'll vomit... TAKE THAT!

Shelle, I was rolling with laughter with tears in my eyes listening to your story! Your hubby saw you vomiting, you land on your bum tons of times...I say the date was a success because he married you!

I've been a lot of dates before I met my husband and though I have never vomited on a date....though there was one date where I came close to doing that.

It was a date with a guy that I haven't seen in a long time and when I met with him and he started talking...let's just stay the guy had a SERIOUS case of extremely bad breath!!!!

Now that would stink BAD... no pun intended, okay maybe the pun was a LITTLE intended...

It was our first REAL date and YES I puked!!! All over the parking lot because I was nervous to go Snowboarding! It was embarrassing--but that's just my life!

Did I know this story??? I swear to you that I didn't hear this story and if I did, boy my memory is fading!! That's hilarious Shelle!! I can picture Klayton watching you throw up and then saying "k ready? let's go"! haha...

Once, I went on a date in SLC and I'd gotten ready for it so quick that I didn't realize I had a bunched up pair of long johns in the jeans I quickly pulled on. Hard to explain, but it looked like I had a big tumor on my backside! I didn't notice until we got back to my apt and I brushed my hand on my backside before sitting down!! I snuck to the bathroom and couldn't believe that I actually had a pair of long johns bundled up in my jeans... what the heck???!! I didn't marry that guy. ; )

I have NO idea... I don't know WHY i wouldn't have told you??? I swear. It was that very first date when he was moving back up north?

Remember?

We were at YOUR house while he tried to convince me to go!

Yea, then I vomited...

LOL LOL LOL... hahahahahhaha... oh my gosh I can just IMAGINE those long johns... that is SO OUR luck! hehehe!

Oh and THANK YOU for that OUTBACK certificate... girl you didn't have to do that... and we are going to go to dinner with YOU GUYS!

Your pictures are turning out so AWESOME!

I remember you going on your first date with Klay... i just don't remember the vomiting part! I actually didn't even remember that you went snowboarding... go figure! I think I need to eat more fish or walnuts or something 'cause my memory... oh boy!!!

I do remember all the bets you two would make and all for the purpose of just spending time together. I think it's hilarious too that you stayed up until 4am! OMG... I can't do that stuff anymore! Eli challenges me in that way sometimes, but it's getting better. :)

PS - we're game to go eat at Outback whenever you are!

Shelle-BlokThoughts said...

Fish and walnuts will help with my memory??? No wonder!

I need to get some myself :)

I know, kids will challenge your sleep pattern, and you hear them and you get all grumpy and say, "just go back to sleep" and then you get to their bed of crib or whatever and that baby just melts your heart and you coo and aaahhh to him and all is well in the world again... until the next time they wake up! :)

Okay... I'll call ya on OutBack... it will be soon!

I met my boyfriend through a dating site and the first time we met in person, he walked in and I dropped everything on the floor. He still teases me about that. But that's about as funny as our "first date" story gets. Yours sounds MUCH more interesting!

I've never vomited on a date, but is it okay to out someone else?

I was on my first real date with a guy I really, really liked. I was a senior in high school, he was a freshman in college... we didn't need anything fancy and we went to Wendy's. Everything was going great until he started making this weird sound. I can't even explain it. And then he started drinking his soda like a mad man, all while looking me straight in the eye, because he was about to die. His soda came out of his nose (and I hadn't even said anything funny, so I knew something was up), and made the sign that he was choking. I panicked. I knew the Heimlich, but I was too shocked to do antyhing about it. So a guy at the next table got up and gave him the Heimlich Maneuver, which dislodged his chicken sandwich and made him throw up everything he had already eaten. He went to the bathroom, I waited by the door, and then we booked as soon as he was out of the bathroom. He was so embarrased, but later he told me he knew he shouldn't have had the spicy chicken sandwich, because something about the spices made his throat close up sometimes. IT HAD HAPPENED BEFORE! But not as bad, I guess. I bet it hasn't happened since! I did end up dating him for a long time. Even dropped the 'L' world eventually. Just another example to show that vomiting on your first date is not necessarily catastrophic to a blossoming relationship.

Stephanie--LOL... okay I've never done that, I usually can keep my shiz together. But not being able to talk is apparently not GOOD for me! :) lol

EMILY--LOL LOL lOL!!! Oh that was good! I can't believe you didn't give him the Heimlich... what if he would have died! And now I'm disturbed that I find that humorous! :) Great great story! THat makes me feel a lot better actually!

Totally love your story. Glad I am not the only one with embarrassing stories. (you've read some of my horrifying stories, haven't you?) BTW- vomit is a total turn-on, right?

I tried to leave a message on your site, but rudeness of all rudeness you turned off your comments. Come on! Maybe I'll try back later.

I would have laughed hysterically, but then I would vomit. True story! I can honestly say I have never vomited while on a date. I have fallen down a hill into a pile of mud while with a guy that a liked though does that count?

Heh. I've been dying to watch this all day and I just finally got the chance. What a GREAT story! I love it.

If it makes you feel any better - I totally BROKE MY LEG on a date. And that was only one of three times I ended up in an emergency room on a date.

I'm so not even kidding.

OneZenMom said...

Also, kudos to you for actually trying the snow boarding! :)

Shelle-BlokThoughts said...

YoungBlood--I turned them off as a tactic for everyone to follow me here... did you bring the chips and dip? And I HAVE read your stories!!!

BlondeDuck--lol thanks.

April--okay that counts... but I've done something similar also... but I bet yours' worse! :)

ZENMOM--LOL!!! Okay I've NEVER ended up in an emergency room, but I did play boys chase girls in second grade and had to leave school to get stitches??? I know, not even close! It does make me feel better though, thanks ZenMom

Yea, I tried and succeeded, I just fell a lot! :)

For the record, I spent most of the time laughing AT you, not with you.

No, I have never puked like that, except for:
1. the night of my stag
2. the night I drank a 26oz of Jack Daniel's in 100 minutes.

Didn't bring the chips and dip, but I did bring theater popcorn and chocolate covered almonds. Good enough?
